<title>Night Skyline</title>
<description>

we tried to photograph some meteorite trail..but it was too cloudy ..i saw about ten trails but couldn't take picture any of them ..they appeared just a blink and then gone..

later i tried to use bulb function, just let the shutter exposed long enough and by chance it could catch any of them but it didn't work...

nevertheless it was fun having three of us up there on the hill near our university..maybe it the first and the last time we go there at night...after we saw something wierd =P (but it was true, we did see something that we could not identified on the sky that night)</description>

<title>Kölner Lichter 2007</title>
<description>
Last Saturday was freaking hot. Hotter than I thought. Köln came so alive. With million people waited for the fireworkshow, we were so lucky to came early and had a good spot.
For me it was something special. This was my second time I went to see this high altitude firework show. Last year was great but this year was greater. The themes was the History of Cologne. Plus the music that was snycronised with this show was the "Story Teller"of the night. Very well composed and most of us like it. In fact this was the 7th Light of Cologne and this is the first time they composed a music for such event.(before this they just played popular songs at that time or the evergreen Classical Music , if im not mistaken)

Personally I am not satisfied with my photos.
I think they were too bright and soft.
I used 12-24mm lens to capture the huge fireworks in the air. The fireworks always in the center, and later crop it when necessary.
I did some editing. Sometime I level down or up and even applied warm filter to my pixs.
O btw i used remote trigger(wire) while i photographing this event so that i can enjoy the
show without sneaking thru the camera's viewfinder.

Overall I must say I had a great day. Tq my frens (Iwan, Paktam and Shila) for that surprise birthday party right after the show..sweet memory..thanks guys.

EXIF:
Aperture: f8-f12
ISO: 100
Shutter: Bulb
Wbalance: Auto.

<title>remote flash trigger trial</title>
<description>

did some testing shots using remote trigger bought from ebay.
reasonably cheap and easy to use.
my external flash(430ex) that was connected to the receiver was placed behind the bottle. my canon 350d triggered the flash using the radio transmitter (on the hotshoe)..

using M mode i had to manually set the f and shutter value since ettl is dissabled.
for this shots :
ISO:100
Shutterspeed:1/250s
Aperture:f6.3

and I also set the flash manually.
In M mode the output level is 1/64 and zoom at 24mm

lastly doing some level adjustment in CS2
